06.07.2022 - Currently, cybercriminals are sending fraudulent emails in the name of the NCSC. The unknown perpetrators are using a domain name (ncscS.ch) that looks deceptively similar to that of the NCSC (ncsc.ch). Do not reply to these emails!
The perpetrators' intentions are currently unknown. The emails do not contain any malicious links or email attachments. However, as the email offers a "refund" of money, there is a suspicion that the attempted fraud is an advance payment scam.
The NCSC recommends that you do not respond to emails of this nature and that you report them to the NCSC:
